Cactualdea
- Is a cactus park, very popular with tourists. Here you can see 1200
different species of cacti imported from countries like Mexico,
Madagascar, Guatemala and Bolivia, set between palms, dragon
trees and aloes.
There is also a model Guanche Cave there
and a nice restaurant
where you can enjoy a relax over a typical meal from the
Canary Islands or choose from the international dishes
before visiting the animals (camels, ostriches, goats,
peacocks).
Other points of interest are a large amphitheatre that is
used for Luchas Canarias, Canary wrestling matches ( two
people wearing shorts wrestle in a way that is similar to
the wrestling that takes place in the Far East ), and a
wine cellar with 250
types of wine to be tasted. |
