Bodyboarding and surfing are best practised at the north. The best place to go is "El Alitalla" just north of Las Palmas between Las Palmas and Galdar. With constant on shore winds it is perfect conditions as waves can get up to five metres high!

There are several places you can hire the necessary equipment if you don't want to bring your own or if you don't have any!

There is also a few good places with good surfing and bodyboarding conditions along the east coast, around Vecindario, Arinaga ( Pozo Izquierda ) and in the south between Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas.

Here are also a couple of surf shops there if you're looking to buy a board or anything else appropriate.
