Most of them offer courses for beginner and advanced courses for the
more experienced divers, and most also let diving equipment.
The visibility is very good and the water temperature is about 22° C all
year round. There are some great dives in the south including wreck and
reefs. In the East there is the Marine Reserve called El Cabron which is
one of only three in the Canary Islands and the diversity of fish and
marine vegetation here is amazing! For the more experienced diver there
are two old shipwrecks to explore in Pasito Blanco. Also northwest of
Sardina and La Isleta there are some fantastic diving sites.
In the North there are
also lots of wreck and reefs to see. Marine
life you will see includes Angle Sharks (in the winter), Logger Head
Turtles, Common Rays, Sting Rays, Bottle Nose Dolphin, Octopus,
Cuttlefish, Morays, Barracuda, Trumpet Fish, Parrot fish, Groupers,
Puffers, Sea Horses and many more reef fish.
