Las Palmas Airport is
situated in Gando, approximately in the middle of the East coast.
Gran Canaria Airport is about 18 km. from the Islands main town
of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and a taxi into the City will
cost about 25 €.
The present Airport is built in 1993, and you drive 20 minutes to reach Las
Palmas, 30 minutes to Playa del Ingles and about 45 minutes to Puerto Rico.
When you arrive at Gran Canaria airport you will collect your
luggage from one of three different zones. Zone A is for all
passengers travelling from within the EU, Zone B is for all other
International traffic and Zone C is for all Inter Canary Island
flights. |
